The Opportunity

We are seeking a Part – Time Supervisor (25-30 hours ) to work early mornings dispatching Waste Collection Helpers between 5:00am – 9amam. This position is located in Lantana, FL. Applicants MUST be bilingual, English and Creole .

Key Responsibilities

·       Oversee the dispatch and assignment of all Helper Employees.

·       Ensure employees dressed properly, have the proper personal protective equipment, and it is in good working order

·       Ensure employees report to work on-time and perform the required job duties daily

·       Assist client management team with daily safety training meetings as well as conducts daily safety training with all employees before they start working

·       Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding all new hire employees

·       Assists with accident investigations and near miss incidents

·       Assists local management with dispute resolution and conflict management

·       Conducts weekly route inspections ensuring employees are performing tasks and functions properly and performing work as required by the client.

·       Responsible for managing employee time sheets ensuring time is submitted weekly to corporate payroll team

·       Assist with replacing employees in the field who cannot finish the shift or are injured while working on the job.

Qualifications

·       Must be bilingual, English & Creole

·       Must be able to work Monday – Saturday, 5:30am – 8:30am

·       Prior experience in recruiting and staffing is preferred

·       Prior experience in the waste collection, recycling, or similar industry is preferred

·       Strong Excel skillset

·       Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
